A Prayer of Lament

Psalm 22 shows us that a prayer of lament doesn’t necessarily change our circumstances, but it can change our perspective. In light of this authentic prayer of David, we see that Jesus can identify with our suffering. And ultimately, through his sacrifice on the cross, we know that even if our suffering lasts for a lifetime, it won’t last for eternity.
