Be Holy in All you Do!

In the apostle Peter’s encouraging letter to those suffering under persecution, he exhorts followers then and today to be holy in all that we do. This sermon, centered around 1 Peter 1:13-21, illustrates how to do this and why we should obey, concluding with truths for today. Peter urges us to prepare our minds for action and to purposely set our hopes in the future grace of Jesus because we were ransomed at the high cost of our Savior’s life. Through honest reflections and truths shared from meditations on Scripture, we are reminded to examine our own behavior and remove distractions, and we are spurred to cling to the curiosity of new faith and hope amidst hardship.
