Peace for the Restless

In a world full of conflict—global and personal—the angels’ promise of “peace on earth” can seem far away. But the peace Jesus gives is not political calm or trouble-free living; it is God’s own presence in the midst of our brokenness. True peace starts with being reconciled to God through Christ (Rom. 5:1) and grows as He fills the cracked places of our lives with His steady wholeness. Like a kintsugi vessel repaired with gold, the Peace of Advent is God making the broken beautiful through Jesus—the One pierced to bring us peace (Isa. 53:5).
