Hope for the Hopeless

Advent reminds us that Jesus Christ is God’s “indescribable gift” (2 Cor. 9:15)—the certain hope every human heart was made for. In Luke 2:25–32, Simeon models true biblical hope: future, guaranteed, and anchored in God’s promises. Just as God fulfilled His word in Christ’s first coming, we can trust His promises as we wait for Christ’s return. This Advent, hope isn’t wishful thinking—it’s the confident expectation that Jesus saves, sustains, and will come again.
