The Cycle of Grace
Nov 16, 2025 • Rich Millhouse
This sermon explores how confession softens our hearts, how sin creates a debt only God can erase, and how forgiven people become forgiving people. Through the powerful story of Louis Zamperini—an Olympian turned POW whose life was transformed by grace—we see how the gospel breaks the cycle of resentment and begins a new cycle: the cycle of grace. Jesus invites us to live in freedom, not by denying sin or repaying our own moral debts, but by receiving mercy and extending mercy. Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it is the fruit of being forgiven. And when forgiven people forgive, the world sees the heart of the Father.
