What are you living for?

In week two of our series When You Pray: Learning to Talk with Our Father,Matthew 6:10, reminding us that prayer is not about getting God to do our will but about God shaping our hearts to want what He wants and live for what lasts. Jesus teaches us to pray with Kingdom Focus—seeking His reign, not our own; with Kingdom Faith—trusting His will even when surrender feels costly; and as a Kingdom Foretaste—living as a sign, instrument, and preview of heaven on earth. Through Christ, who perfectly prayed “Your will be done” in our place, we are invited into the Father’s mission to see His Kingdom come in and through us. Prayer, then, reorients our priorities, deepens our trust, and calls us to live for what endures—His glory and His Kingdom.
