Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the celebration of Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem at the onset of the Passover celebration, an event that fulfilled many prophecies regarding the messiah and recognized Jesus as a king. First, we looked at the spontaneous, yet choreographed response of the large crowd that went to meet Jesus, and the different ways that our traditions and spontaneity can strengthen our worship. Then we recognized the positive way that Jesus exceeds our expectations by arriving as the king of peace. Finally, we looked at the value of investigating who Jesus really is.
